Equipment

ASU facilities involve laboratories for mass spectrometry, chromatography, microbiology and cell based assays.

The mass spectrometry facilities (UniMS) are shared with ITQB and equipped with a Triple TOF mass spectrometer (ABSciex TripleTOF® 6600) combined with SWATH acquisition 2.0 and Ion Mobility Technology, Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization source and a time-of-flight analyser (MALDI-TOF/TOF), a LC-MS system (ion trap; ESI and APCI) and a nanoLC-MS/MS system (linear trap, nanoESI).

All laboratories are installed in newly refurbished facilities equipped with Q-PCR, GC, HPLC and UPLC systems as well as FTIR.

ASU is installed in newly refurbished facilities which have available room for expansion.

An evolving young team, including four Ph.D., is fully committed to providing high quality results using state-of-the-art technology under GMP compliance.
